In a preamble to the launch of our professional dance group, DES Arts presents a Chinese Contemporary dance performance-“Jewel of the Yellow Earth”. In contemporary civilisation, red pales as the perseverance to preserve traditions history, relationships, customs, morals and values wanes. Nonetheless, Chinese heritage continues to evolve and be enriched. Red - a symbol of bloodline and life in Chinese tradition, continues its legacy. When the flame re-ignites, it will once again be our inspiration to live and continue to live.
