About DES Performing Academy
DES Performing Academy is Dance Ensemble Singapore (DES)’s Chinese cultural hub for children and youths. Offering dance, martial arts, Chinese Language Arts, and Chinese music classes for 3 to 18 year-olds, the academy sets its educational foundation on Confucianism principles, where teachings and moral education such as “Guidelines to being a Good Person” are incorporated in the syllabus to enrich students’ learning journey and encourage good ethics and moral personalities. With a well-rounded and holistic approach, DES Performing Academy ensures students are able to understand and appreciate the beauty of Chinese arts and culture, thereby developing into confident and skilled young artist.
秉着“建校养团, 办团扬校”精神, 努力拓展其舞蹈领域，聚舞坊艺术苑校是本地华族文化中心。 开设舞蹈、武术、华文语艺、华乐等课程，适合3至18岁的学生，以儒家思想为教育基础，融入“好人之道”等教义和道德教育。 教学大纲丰富学生的学习之旅，鼓励与培养良好的道德人格。以全方位和全面的方法确保学生理解和欣赏华族文化艺术之美，从而培养自信熟练的年轻艺术家。
