Mystique 展望奇迹

Dance Ensemble Singapore (DES) presents Mystique, our annual year end performing arts showcase. Staged by students as young as 3 years old from DES Performing Academy to our open class for adults, the performance features dance and martial arts choreographies by DES Dance Director Sharon Low, Artistic Director Cai Shiji, Creative Director Goh Yan Dan, and the academy’s instructors.

It also includes special segments – Mandarin phonetics (aka Hanyu Pinyin), Chinese Bamboo Clapping (aka Kuai Ban) and Chinese Orchestra performances – that accompany our dance and martial arts performances to present a holistic Chinese Performing Arts concert by a generation of individuals who are confident in their mother tongue and appreciative of their cultural roots.
